We are an independent specialist school in the heart of the community, where pupils Belong, Grow and Thrive through safe relationships, personalised learning, and real world preparation.

Spark Vale Academy does not currently have pupils with English as an additional language. If a pupil requires EAL support in future, we will assess need and put appropriate support in place so the pupil can access the curriculum.

Following a progress monitoring inspection in February 2026, Ofsted confirmed that Spark Vale Academy meets all of the independent school standards that were checked.

Previous inspection

In June 2025, the school's standard inspection identified unmet independent school standards, which were then addressed through the action plan and follow-up monitoring process.
